Let’s do our part to preserve and protect our beautiful Earth.
Last year alone the U.S. disposed of more than 166 million tons of trash – paper, plastic, metals, glass etc. This trash was dumped into landfills and sometimes incinerated.
Reduce pollution.
Indoor and outdoor pollution contributes to millions of heath problems, is destructive to plant life, and contributes to a buildup of CO2 in our atmosphere.
Protect our plant life.
Plants filter toxins from the air while giving off oxygen necessary for animal life yet Help stop the indiscriminate destruction of our forests.
We can all help.
Go paperless whenever possible.
Use biodegradable containers.
Avoid plastic bags and take out containers.
Urge your favorite grocery store and restaurant to make the switch to biodegradable bags and containers.
Use reusable utensils.
Avoid bottled water.
Use green cleaning products.
Use natural safe air fresheners i.e. Simmering herbs and spices or fresh sliced lemons.
Look at alternative energy sources. We use solar lanterns outside.
Turn off the electricity when you leave a room. Go electric light free for an hour every week.
Plant wildflowers to help the bees.
Plant a tree and try to conserve the natural habitat surrounding your home.
Eat less meat.
Working together we can make a difference!
