Apple pie soup is a wonderful way to warm up on a chilly evening. Since it is cooked in a slow cooker, you can prepare early in the day and enjoy when everyone gathers together at home.
All our ingredients are organic.
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice

- ⅔ cup golden raisins
- Chopped walnuts for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Place apples in slow cooker
- Evenly add the melted butter on top.

- Mash down any remaining large chunks of apple.
- Add the water and cider along with spices and raisins.
- Replace lid and cook for 2 more hours.
When serving you have an option of adding slightly crushed or chopped roasted walnuts to the top of each bowl.
Along with this great soup, serve some nice cheddar cheese either grated on top or on the side with bread.
